PLORA is looking for teachers ready to try something different.

If you have a student (or a small group) in grades 4-12 who has tried everything and still can't decode, PLORA was designed for exactly that kid. It's a temporary bridge orthography: one symbol, one sound, every time. Students learn it fast. Most are reading in it within 3-4 weeks.

We're in early pilots. That means you get in at the beginning, your feedback shapes the program, and your students get something no one else has tried with them yet.

What it actually takes:

• 60-90 minutes a week for lessons (more if you have a dedicated reading block)

• About 15 minutes of prep per week

• A willingness to tell us honestly what works and what doesn't
